Sure there are people who make it there business to spit alcohol into buckets on weekends, while waffling on about bouquets and flavour nuances etc, but their opinion is no more vaild than the next beer drinker.
I happen to enjoy beers (and brew my own) and was very dissappointed when I sampled the James Squire Pilsener. I couldn’t quite put my finger on the strange bitter, poor taste (not clean and crisp like a pilsener should be), and then I read a comment on this site that summed up the flavour quite aptly… cabbage
