Fourex Gold is definitely worth defending here. It is extremely refreshing without losing its bitterness. Head retention is usually good and Fourex deserves a medal for their consistency of brew. One of the few beers that benefits from being served ‘near frozen’. Oh yeah… it was also one of the first ‘Lo-carb’ beers for all those Blonde drinkers out there.
