Appearance: Clear, dark in colour.
Aroma/Bouquet: High intensity, solvent-like aroma.
Taste: Fizzy and bitter, with a long aftertaste.
Summary: Not recommended.

In a blind test of Carlton Draught, our tasters commented:

“Like chewing on a beer coaster. Yuk!”
“Floor cleaner with a hint of caramel.”
“Smells like bleach, with an aftertaste of pure cardboard.”
“Fizzy and bland.”
“Tastes like a sweaty karate uniform!”

    They say all beers taste the same after three or four. I don’t mind most Aussie beers, but prefer Carlton Draught over the bar.
