Emu Bitter

Its sulphury aroma and a short aftertaste meant that Emu Bitter was rated as "practically undrinkable" by our lead beer taster. The other beer tasters followed suit, giving Emu Bitter a rating of not recommended.

Beer test results for Emu Bitter

In a blind test, our beer tasters came to the following conclusions:
Appearance: Very clear appearance.
Aroma/Bouquet: Sulphury, grassy, earthy aroma.
Taste: A thin-bodied beer with a short aftertaste, lacking carbonation.
Summary: Not recommended.

In a blind test of Emu Bitter, our tasters commented:

“Pissy stale smell. It’s not too crash hot. Definitely not my favourite!”
“The sulphury aroma gets worse the more you smell it! Doesn’t taste like beer at all.”
“Smells grassy and a little like cooked vegetables. Practically undrinkable!”
“Watery, but drinkable.”
