Awesome Ideas and Party Tips for a Successful Beer Tasting Party

In the previous years, wine tasting has taken the lead in tasting and sampling parties. Beer tasting parties aren’t quite known, but they do exist. A party such as this one is an awesome way to socially get together with friends and enjoy it.

Most of the time, these parties don’t draw an enormous crowd, but are still enjoyable. If you’re searching for a specific number to invite, more than two, but less than eleven would be perfect. It’s important that you invite friends who are responsible so that there aren’t any problems later on down the line.

Although these parties are often compared to wine tasting parties, the difference here is that when it comes to the beer, you will actually have to taste it in order to appreciate the quality. The only rule here is that you and your friends have a great time and enjoy the beer.
In order to throw a successful party or get-together, you will need to be aware of a few things. When you are sampling, keep in mind that the glasses should not be filled completely. To be precise with the measurement, the glass should only contain one-third of a cup.

Before you use actual beer, practice using water first. This is a good method to practice because you won’t waste beer this way. The trick here is the shape and size of your cups that you’re using. Just so you are aware, for every eight persons, you will need two twelve ounce bottles of beer.

On another note, you will want to make sure that your glasses are clean because any soapy residue that is left behind will adjust the look as well as the taste. This is something that you will want to avoid completely. A menu is an item that you will also want to make sure that you have. On this menu, you should make sure that the beer runs from the lightest to the heaviest tasting.

Another thing you will want to take notice to is that not all light beers have a light tent to them. It’s important that you don’t get these flavors mixed up. It is also important that you realize that the color of the liquid is not as near important as the flavor. To have a little more fun, try to sample beer from all over the world and see what you like and dislike about it.

To make things a little more interesting, print a couple of beer flavor score sheets and judge the flavors the way you see fit and compare them with your friend’s. This is just a fun idea or game that you can play if you would like.

Although this is supposed to be a night of fun and enjoyment for you and your friends, be safe and make sure that everyone is sober so that they will make it home safely. If they are unable to, you may want to let them stay in your home for the night just to be on the safe side.
